Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join their team in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of litigation attorneys to address complex legal issues, with a strong commitment to client service.

Duties

• Manage plaintiff personal injury caseloads from claim process through litigation and trial.
• Interact and negotiate with insurance companies and defense counsel.
• Communicate and maintain positive client relationships.
• Draft legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and jury trials.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Missouri.
• At least 1 year of personal injury litigation experience.
• Preferred: Active license in Illinois.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
