Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney in Litigation and Government Enforcement to join its practice in Washington, DC; Hanover, MD; Ooltewah, TN; or Portland, ME. The role involves managing consumer litigation and government investigations under various consumer protection laws.

Duties

  • Conduct substantive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court-ready documents.
  • Manage discovery processes, including drafting requests and reviewing documents.
  • Oversee day-to-day case management and compliance with court rules.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and execute case strategies.
  • Participate in business development and marketing activities.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of commercial or consumer litigation experience.
  • Admitted to practice in DC, Maryland, Maine, or Tennessee, or eligible for admission by waiver.
  • Experience in federal court litigation and consumer arbitration preferred.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications

  • Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively.
