Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate to join its Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice in San Francisco, CA, with a preference for Dallas. The candidate will work with a dynamic team advising on complex transactions across various industries, focusing on health care services.

Duties

• Advise financial sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and investors on complex transactions.
• Counsel clients in the health care services sector, including post-acute care and digital health.
• Manage transactions independently while collaborating with a team.
• Integrate legal technology and innovative frameworks into deal processes.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of Private Equity and M&A experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 or 200 firm.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with joint ventures and emerging health care business models.
• Familiarity with design thinking and disruptive innovation principles is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
