Duties:

• Represent clients in medical malpractice and nursing home litigation matters.
• Handle all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Manage client relationships, providing clear and effective communication.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance to senior attorneys.
• Collaborate with team members on case strategy and trial preparation.
• Appear in court for hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in medical malpractice or nursing home litigation.
• Proven experience in handling complex litigation cases.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in West Virginia.
