Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced associate for its Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice in San Diego, CA. The candidate will advise companies in the digital health sector on regulatory, data protection, and AI-related matters.

Duties

  • Advise clients on healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA and CCPA/CPRA.
  • Provide guidance on AI laws and healthcare fraud and abuse regulations.
  • Draft and negotiate complex legal documents.
  • Lead projects and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with healthcare providers and digital health companies.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
