Job Duties

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex healthcare regulations and elder care issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, policies, and compliance reports.
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and regulatory agencies to ensure state and federal laws compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve disputes and achieve favorable client outcomes.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar Association.
  • Experience practicing healthcare law, focusing on nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
  • Proven track record of successful legal advocacy and client service.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Education
