A law firm seeks a Healthcare Regulatory Associate with 2-4 years of experience in healthcare law to join its team in Boston. This role focuses on health innovation, representing companies from pre-formation to capital markets, including public health tech firms.

Duties

  • Advise on healthcare regulatory issues, including corporate practice of medicine and multi-state digital health practices.
  • Handle federal, commercial, and self-insured payor reimbursement matters.
  • Address value-based care and accountable care organizations.
  • Navigate fraud and abuse laws, including Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state health privacy laws.
  • Manage health data exchange and interoperability regulations.
  • Advise on state healthcare transaction notification laws and AI use in healthcare.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Superior organizational and project management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with good judgment.
  • Client service-oriented and quick to learn new issues.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to client events and healthcare conferences.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
