Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Practice Innovation Attorney in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence and innovative technologies into legal practices, enhancing productivity and client outcomes. The attorney will conduct pilot tests, promote firm-wide adoption, and provide research support through the firm's AI services.

Duties

  • Collaborate with practice groups and clients to develop and deploy technology solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions on legal technologies and AI solutions.
  • Curate resources and best practices for legal technology use.
  • Provide research support through AI services and traditional methods.
  • Monitor legal technology trends for innovation opportunities.
  • Create alerts for monitoring legal or industry topics.
  • Identify training opportunities by analyzing research data.
  • Develop and present training sessions for attorneys and professionals.
  • Assist with reviewing information resource contracts.
  • Support other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • JD degree required; Master's in Library Science preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a corporate or litigation attorney or legal researcher.
  • Experience with legal technologies, particularly AI and automation.
  • Strong technology skills and interest in innovation.
  • Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
