A law firm seeks an experienced attorney in Durham, NC. The firm is expanding in key practice areas, including government representation, business representation, and litigation defense. They are looking for lateral attorneys with a portable client base to join their team.

Duties

• Represent clients in various legal matters.
• Develop and maintain a client base.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license to practice law in VA and/or NC.
• Entrepreneurial drive and desire to build a client base.
• Portable book of business or proof of originating business at $200,000 annually or more.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in VA and/or NC.

• Strong client relationship management.
