Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Transactions Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, development projects, and financings.

Duties

• Manage sophisticated transactions from inception to closing.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture documents, and financing instruments.
• Coordinate due diligence across title, survey, zoning, environmental, and corporate matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.
