Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its real estate team. This full-time role is ideal for a licensed attorney with a strong background in handling residential real estate transactions, title review, and client communications. The position requires the ability to manage closings throughout the state, including occasional evening and weekend work. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate autonomy, attention to detail, and a client-centered approach.

Location:

  • Stamford, Connecticut

Duties:

  • Conduct title rundowns, review, and recordings

  • Review and revise real estate contracts

  • Handle refinance and purchase closings

  • Maintain strong relationships with lenders, realtors, and clients

  • Utilize real estate industry software for transaction management

  • Travel to closing locations across Connecticut, including evenings and some Saturdays

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential real estate law

  • Must have reliable transportation for statewide travel

  • Availability for evening and occasional Saturday closings

  • Experience with industry-standard software tools

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality legal service

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar

  • Current Connecticut Notary Commission

  • Bar membership or Notary commission in neighboring states is a plus
