Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Special Counsel/Partner to join their Long-Term Care and Medical Malpractice group in Buffalo, NY. This role offers the chance to collaborate with seasoned litigators, engage in case strategy, and foster client relationships. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in insurance defense, with trial experience preferred. A book of business is advantageous but not mandatory. Duties

  • Collaborate with experienced litigators on case strategy and development.
  • Engage with and develop firm clients.
  • Participate in trial preparations and proceedings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in insurance defense.
  • Active membership in good standing of the New York State Bar.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • A book of business is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) in Law.

Certifications

  • Active New York State Bar membership.
