Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate for its Appleton, WI office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, providing legal expertise in labor and employment matters.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Advise clients on state and federal labor and employment laws.
• Represent clients before administrative agencies and courts.
• Argue motions, take and defend depositions, and assist with trial preparation.
• Stay current on legal developments and provide practical legal solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience handling employment-related litigation.
• Excellent research, writing, and drafting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Superior organizational and time management skills.
• Full-time availability with flexible hours.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Interest in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted or eligible for admission to practice in Wisconsin.
