Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced lateral attorney to join its Tax Credit Finance practice in Wichita, KS. This role offers the opportunity to engage in diverse transactional matters, including tax, energy, debt, and equity financing, as well as real estate. The successful candidate will collaborate with seasoned partners in a growing practice that spans nationwide deals involving partnerships, corporations, tax credits, real estate, and secured lending.

Duties

  • Address sophisticated legal issues.
  • Draft and negotiate financing agreements.
  • Review associated diligence.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally.

Requirements

  • Active bar license in good standing in the office location.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in tax credits, partnerships, corporations, real estate, or secured lending.
  • Preference for candidates with a portable book of business.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
