Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney to join its Litigation Team in Auburn, ME. This full-time, in-person position involves occasional local travel and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value plaintiff cases.

Duties

  • Collaborate with the Team Leader to develop case plans and strategies.
  • Contribute to litigation efforts and trial preparation.
  • Engage actively with clients to understand their rights and legal options.
  • Maintain high standards of work and enforce expectations within the team.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working as an attorney.
  • Experience handling personal injury, medical malpractice, or other consumer law cases is preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a team setting.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Law Review, Clerkship, or other experience with a premium on quality of written work product would be an asset.
  • Tech-savvy with a strong organizational skill set.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Maine.
