Experienced Trial Attorney - Business Litigation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Experienced Trial Attorney for Business Litigation in Anaheim Hills, CA. This role offers a hybrid work environment with an initial in-office period for onboarding and training. The attorney will lead litigation strategy and manage cases from inception through resolution.

Duties

• Manage a full caseload from initial stages through final disposition.
• Lead all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and case strategy.
• Develop strategic legal approaches and counsel clients on their best legal interests.
• Represent clients at mediations, depositions, motions, trials, and hearings.
• Take statements, collect evidence, and collaborate with investigators or experts.
• Consult with clients, financial experts, attorneys, and other relevant parties.
• Negotiate settlements for both liability and damages.
• Maintain accurate and timely billing entries.

Requirements

• Must be in good standing with the California Bar Association.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in business litigation.
• Experience managing cases through trial and serving in a lead attorney capacity.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California Bar Association.
