Duties

• Engage in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice.

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to coverage issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, experts, and clients on case strategies.
• Participate in client meetings, depositions, and hearings.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
• 2-4 years of litigation experience; insurance coverage experience is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Interest in insurance law, catastrophic loss, and trial advocacy.

Education

This small Boston office is the outpost of a large national firm with headquarters in the Midwest. Although the firm projects enlarging this office to become a full-service practice unto itself, right now, the focus is primarily litigation and in particular in defense of several of this firm's key insurance clientele.
