Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Public Sector Law Associate for its office in Lansing, MI. The associate will work with public sector clients on water resources matters, including environmental compliance, land acquisition, and litigation.

Duties

• Assist with environmental compliance and land use regulation.
• Manage land acquisition and easements.
• Handle eminent domain and construction contracts.
• Engage in litigation related to water resources.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in water resources/drain law.
• Familiarity with real estate, environmental, and construction matters.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a solid work ethic.
• Licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible for admission without examination.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
