Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior level associate to join its Finance team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in complex commercial lending and leveraged finance transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions, including syndicated financings and structured lending arrangements, within a collaborative and market-leading team.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation across various credit facilities.
• Advise private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on complex domestic and cross-border debt financings.
• Participate in syndicated financings, secured and unsecured debt, and leveraged acquisition financings.
• Collaborate with a team on innovative and complex transactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a finance lawyer.
• Experience drafting and negotiating principal financing documentation, including security documentation.
• Experience representing private credit lenders and/or private equity sponsors in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the applicable state.
