The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in public procurement and contract negotiation, with a focus on representing school and community college districts.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including construction and professional services agreements.
  • Handle bid packages, procurement documents, and bid protests.
  • Manage claims related to stop payment notices, change orders, and payment disputes.
  • Collaborate on litigation matters as needed.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with public procurement processes and contract law.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
