Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Real Estate Senior Associate in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves engaging in sophisticated, high-impact work for premier clients, offering robust resources and mentorship. The successful candidate will represent developers, owners, investors, REITs, lenders, and corporate occupiers in complex transactions across various asset classes.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and related real estate contracts.
  • Lead due diligence, including title and survey review, and zoning and land use analyses.
  • Coordinate and close acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions.
  • Manage workstreams, mentor junior lawyers, and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience.
  • Proven track record in acquisitions, dispositions, and complex commercial leases.
  • Experience at a major law firm with a national practice is required.
  • Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the practicing state.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona or eligible for waiver into the Washington DC Bar.
