Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate attorney in Boston, MA, to join its civil litigation team. The role offers an opportunity to work on complex litigation matters across various practice areas, including professional liability, commercial litigation, and environmental torts.

Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• Conduct focused legal research and draft memoranda.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing updates and guidance.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in Massachusetts state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in taking and defending depositions.
• Strong advocacy skills and ability to draft and argue motions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
