Duties

  • Lead complex immigration cases, including waivers, appeals, and removal defense.
  • Represent clients before USCIS and EOIR, leading hearings and interviews.
  • Develop and oversee high-level case strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents and evidence packets.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals.
  • Collaborate on improving systems and team training.
  • Communicate with clients to prepare testimony and gather evidence.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met with precision.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of substantial immigration law experience.
  • Expertise in USCIS filings, EOIR hearings, and consular processing.
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload autonomously.
  • Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish preferred; both languages are a plus.
  • Strong leadership and client counseling skills.
  • Experience with case management systems and cloud-based tools.

Education

  • J.D. and admission to a U.S. state bar (Massachusetts preferred).
