Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its growing real estate practice in Seattle, WA. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients and engage in complex transactions across various markets in the United States.

Duties

  • Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on commercial real estate matters.
  • Structure and execute acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across diverse asset classes.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and commercial leases.
  • Conduct and manage due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning reviews.
  • Advise on development projects from entitlement through completion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various practice areas.
  • Support clients with operational real estate matters, including lease amendments and tenant issues.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.
  • 4-6 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
  • Admission to the bar in the state of location preference or ability to become admitted promptly.
  • Demonstrated experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
