Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated attorney to join its Real Estate and Banking and Finance practice groups in Erie, PA. This role is ideal for an ambitious lawyer aiming to build a career within a supportive, high-achieving environment.

Duties

  • Represent clients in transactional matters, including bond financing and real estate financing.
  • Structure, negotiate, and document commercial loans and other transactions.
  • Address property tax exemptions, appeals, and assessments.
  • Assist with real estate acquisition and development, including tax sales.
  • Facilitate residential closings and manage relationships with sellers, purchasers, and developers.
  • Collaborate with junior associates and partners to develop legal strategies.
  • Utilize legal technology to streamline matter management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate, financing, tax assessment, zoning, bond, and/or title matters.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or pending admission).
  • Strong professional and academic record.
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate and commercial lending.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or pending admission).
