Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time, fully remote Associate Attorney specializing in personal injury litigation. This position, based in California, involves supporting senior trial attorneys on complex, high-value injury cases, providing hands-on experience in litigation strategy, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy. It is ideal for an attorney seeking mentorship and exposure to advanced litigation work without managing an independent caseload.

Duties

  • Assist senior attorneys with management of complex personal injury litigation matters
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and trial preparation
  • Support depositions, mediations, hearings, and arbitrations, both virtually and in person as needed
  • Coordinate with experts, medical providers, and clients to support case development
  • Ensure all case materials comply with legal and procedural standards

Requirements

  • 4+ years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
  • Experience with depositions, mediations, or motion practice is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a team
  • Strong client-focused approach

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active California Bar license
