A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney for its Strategic Advisory and Government Enforcement unit in San Francisco, CA, with options for remote work across the U.S. The role focuses on enhancing legal service delivery through people, process, and technology, collaborating with various teams and reporting to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation.

Duties

  • Lead projects to streamline legal service delivery using technology and best practices.
  • Manage digitalization efforts, including automation and data strategy support.
  • Integrate and promote legal technology, including generative AI, within the practice.
  • Develop client-facing solutions to enhance collaboration and data sharing.
  • Create and automate knowledge libraries and improve practice content utilization.
  • Educate legal professionals on technology and client solutions to improve services.
  • Maintain case studies and innovation materials for business development.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in litigation, regulatory, transactional, or legislative policy.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex ideas clearly.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle diverse situations.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and AI applications in legal services.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.
