Job Overview

A leading law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its commercial litigation practice. The role involves working closely with senior attorneys on a range of complex commercial disputes across multiple specialist practice areas, offering a platform for career development and exposure to high-quality work.

Duties

  • Assist senior department members with a variety of commercial litigation matters

  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence

  • Analyze legislation and apply findings to client matters

  • Provide practical and commercially sound legal advice

  • Communicate effectively with clients at all levels

  • Manage time and case files efficiently to meet deadlines

  • Collaborate within a team environment on litigation strategies

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of PQE in commercial litigation

  • Previous experience gained at a firm handling commercial disputes

  • Strong commercial awareness

  • High level of self-motivation and ability to take initiative

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction (specific state or country not specified)
