Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Public Contracting and Complex Litigation Associate in Camarillo, CA. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience representing public agencies, focusing on contracting, procurement, construction, and related litigation matters.

Duties

  • Advise California public agencies on public contracting.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate public agency agreements, including professional services and technology contracts.
  • Litigate California public works and construction disputes, including delay and defective work claims.
  • Assist with broader public agency litigation, including CPRA compliance.

 

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience with public agencies.
  • Experience in public contracting and litigation.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

 

Certifications

  • State Bar of California admission.
