Mid-Level Banking Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level banking associate to join its US banking and loan finance team in Redwood City, CA. The team represents lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies in various lending transactions, including acquisition finance and asset-based lending.

Duties

• Work on a diverse portfolio of lending transactions for both borrowers and lenders.
• Engage in syndicated TLA/TLB transactions and direct lending transactions.
• Handle note purchase agreement private placements and receivables financings.
• Participate in equipment financings and structured financings.

Requirements

• Significant transactional experience in bank financing transactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• Commitment to excellence and a collegial work environment.
• Preference for candidates in New York or Washington DC, but Denver candidates with relevant experience considered.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in the United States.
