Job Overview
A law firm seeks an International Trade Mid-Level Associate with 5 to 7 years of experience to join their Governmental Practice Group in Costa Mesa, CA.

Duties

  • Support the full-scope international trade practice.
  • Advise clients on export controls, foreign investment reviews, and economic sanctions.
  • Handle customs law and international trade agreements.
  • Manage antidumping and countervailing duties cases.

 

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of international trade law experience.
  • Experience with at least three areas: EAR, ITAR, CFIUS, economic sanctions, customs law, trade agreements, AD/CVD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Admitted to and a member in good standing of the California bar.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

 

Certifications

  • California bar admission.

 

Skills

  • Proficiency in international trade law.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
