Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate (Junior to Mid-Level) for its Albany office. Duties

• Analyze legal issues and draft briefs.
• Summarize factual situations and pursue discovery.
• Assist with and/or take and defend depositions.
• Appear before state and federal courts.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Good standing with the NY Bar.
• Federal clerkship is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
