A law firm seeks an Energy and Infrastructure Associate to join one of its U.S.-based offices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in energy and infrastructure project finance, tax equity, and/or mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

• Engage in energy and infrastructure project finance transactions.
• Participate in tax equity and M&A activities.
• Collaborate with a global team of attorneys.

Requirements

• 3 to 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Superior communication skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of the office location.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.

Many of the firm's top clients are investment banks, but, in recent years, the firm has expanded its intellectual property litigation practice. The atmosphere is collegial, but slightly more conservative than most Bay Area firms. Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable hour levels above 1,950.
