A law firm seeks a highly motivated Litigation Associate Attorney in Sheffield, OH. Duties

• Manage a wide range of litigation matters from inception to resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other memoranda
• Conduct depositions, discovery, and pre-trial work
• Appear in court and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
• Manage client communications and case strategy
• Create corporate documents for new and existing business entities
• Prepare transactional documents such as asset purchase agreements
• Offer guidance as general counsel to public and private sector clients
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries on complex litigation

Requirements

• 2 - 6 years of experience in all phases of litigation
• Experience with client intake, drafting pleadings, and trial work
• Ability to build client relationships and develop a client base

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio
