Job Overview

Ideal candidates will bring at least 5+ years of comprehensive transactional real estate experience, complemented by outstanding writing and communication skills. Duties

  • Handle a variety of real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and leasing agreements.
  • Engage in property management agreements and joint ventures.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to facilitate complex financing transactions.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to support the firm’s real estate finance initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of client relationships and business opportunities within the practice group.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in transactional real estate law, particularly in a large law firm setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating real estate agreements.
  • Strong background in borrower-side financing and fund experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Illinois Bar is required.
