Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Bloomington, MN, is actively seeking a driven litigation associate to join its dynamic practice. Duties:

• Advocate on behalf of clients in a range of litigation matters, including in-court proceedings, depositions, and negotiations

• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery responses, motions, contracts, and related legal documents

• Provide practical legal guidance to clients while effectively managing their expectations

• Coordinate case strategies in collaboration with fellow attorneys and support staff

• Oversee and assign responsibilities to legal support team members

• Remain current with changes in laws and legal precedents applicable to active cases

• Carry out additional litigation-related responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Minnesota

• Between 1-3 years of experience in litigation practice

• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and multitask efficiently

• Clear and professional communication skills, both oral and written

• Strong sense of ethics and dedication to delivering exceptional service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Minnesota Bar (Required)

Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and legal research tools

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also managing independent tasks

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Prior exposure to civil litigation, property disputes, or insurance law is beneficial

• Experience with courtroom appearances or depositions is a plus

• Familiarity with state and federal litigation procedures preferred
