Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Litigation Attorney to work remotely in Florida. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in first party property damage insurance matters and will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties

  • Represent clients in State Circuit/County Court and Federal court.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings.
  • Advise clients on legal issues and provide guidance on potential outcomes.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida bar association.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in first party property damage insurance civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education
