Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Insurance Defense practice in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of litigation experience and be adept at managing the full litigation process, including drafting, writing, researching, and effectively communicating with clients.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Review, analyze, and summarize discovery materials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing parties, and experts.
• Prepare clients for, defend, and take depositions.
• Participate in mediations and conduct legal research.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Georgia.
• 2-4 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Georgia Bar License.
