Junior Associate Disability Attorney

Duties

• Represent clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.
• Answer client questions and maintain regular contact via telephone, mail, and email.
• Review and develop pre-hearing and hearing level cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pre-hearing brief memorandums.
• Draft appeals council briefs and other legal documents as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing.
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time for hearings.
• Residence in CA, TX, GA, FL, NV, TN, DC, NC, or SC.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Reliability and eagerness to learn.
• Knowledge of Social Security Disability Law preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in one of the listed states.
