Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their team in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, strategy, and enforcement, with flexibility to work in Boston or New York.

Duties

  • Manage domestic and global trademark prosecution and strategy.
  • Handle trademark disputes and online enforcement matters.
  • Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements.
  • Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
  • Represent clients in TTAB disputes.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of intellectual property experience in private practice.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and client service skills.
  • Bar admission in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills
