Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Intellectual Property Associate with a technical or engineering focus to join their dynamic practice in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have two to four years of experience in intellectual property matters, including patent and trade secret cases.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Advocate for clients in intellectual property litigation.
• Collaborate with team members on complex cases.
• Manage case files and client communications.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Membership to the State Bar of California.

Education

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent preferred.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
