Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its corporate practice group in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will possess three to four years of experience in areas such as general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities act reporting, and capital markets.

Duties

  • Prepare stock and asset purchase agreements.
  • Draft private placement memoranda.
  • Handle SEC reporting and registrations.

Requirements

  • Three to four years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience in a corporate/business/securities group of a large law firm.
  • Membership in the Utah Bar or willingness to take the Utah Bar.
  • Membership in the Bar of another U.S. state if not currently in Utah.

Education

  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Utah Bar membership or eligibility.

  • Highly motivated and hard-working.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
