Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its Cleveland, Ohio office. The ideal candidate will possess first-chair trial experience, a comprehensive understanding of medical-legal issues, and a proven ability to manage high-stakes cases from inception through verdict.

Duties

  • Handle complex medical malpractice defense litigation.
  • Appear regularly in court conferences, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
  • Develop litigation strategies, draft pleadings, and negotiate settlements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to insurers and corporate clients.
  • Work independently on assigned caseloads.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license in good standing with the state bar.
  • Minimum 7 years of litigation experience, with at least 3 years in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation.
  • First-chair trial experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex litigation matters.
