Toxic Tort/Product Liability Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Toxic Tort/Product Liability Associate in Seattle, Washington. This role involves representing clients in complex legal challenges, including toxic tort and product liability matters, in both state and federal courts. The position offers a flexible, hybrid or remote working arrangement.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Manage a litigation caseload independently from start to finish.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Washington.
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in asbestos, talc, silicosis, or related toxic torts preferred.
• Complex litigation and product liability experience preferred.
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required.
• Experience with court appearances and depositions preferred.
• 2nd chair trial experience a plus.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of Washington.
