  • Prepare and analyze CEQA/NEPA environmental review documents.

  • Represent clients in hearings before planning commissions, zoning boards, and other public bodies.

  • Advise on regulatory compliance, land use strategy, and community outreach.

  • Support real estate development projects through all phases of approval.

  • Collaborate with architects, planners, consultants, and government officials.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of land use, development, environmental, or municipal law experience.

  • Familiarity with CEQA/NEPA, zoning codes, and permitting processes.

  • Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

  • Ability to manage regulatory timelines and multiple projects at once.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction (local experience highly valued).

Skills

  • Strong research and statutory analysis abilities.

  • Effective communication with public agencies and stakeholders.

  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks.

  • Organized, detail-focused, and responsive.

  • Collaborative approach with clients and development teams.
