Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Land Use and Environmental Associate to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and environmental law, with a focus on land use entitlements and regulatory counseling.

Duties

  • Conduct litigation under the California Environmental Quality Act and housing laws.
  • Perform land use entitlement and CEQA analyses.
  • Provide regulatory counseling under state and federal environmental laws.
  • Engage in legal research and writing.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work a minimum of three days in the office.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications

  • California Bar admission.

 

Skills

  • Excellent research and writing abilities.
  • Strong litigation skills.
  • Experience with land use and environmental law.
