Real Estate Associate / Special Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate or Special Counsel with a focus on lender-side work in New York, NY. Duties

• Represent lenders in commercial real estate loan transactions.
• Advise clients on construction loan matters, if applicable.
• Collaborate with team members to support the Real Estate Department's growth.
• Draft and review legal documents with precision and clarity.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of law firm experience.
• Significant experience in lender-side commercial real estate loans.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
