Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced trial lawyer to join its expanding litigation team in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation and a commitment to providing exceptional legal representation.

Duties

  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft discoveries, pleadings, and motions
  • Monitor case progress
  • Prepare and participate in jury trials
  • Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
  • Make court appearances as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience handling personal injury claims preferred
  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Courtroom motion practice experience preferred

Education

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Missouri

Skills

  • Strong litigation and trial skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in legal research and writing
