Core Responsibilities:

  • Counsel a diverse client base—including developers, lenders, investors, and corporate entities—on a wide spectrum of real estate transactions.

  • Oversee and facilitate complex commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing arrangements, and financings.

  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and financing documents.

  • Advise clients on land use, zoning, title, and environmental issues impacting real estate projects.

  • Coordinate with local regulatory bodies, title companies, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth transaction execution.

  • Manage due diligence processes, identifying potential risks and proposing strategic solutions.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends in real estate law, municipal regulations, and market conditions to provide clients with forward-thinking legal guidance.

  • Nurture existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities to grow a personal portfolio.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized law school.

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts or eligible for admission through reciprocity or waiver.

  • 2-6 years of focused experience handling commercial real estate matters within a legal framework.

  • A demonstrated book of business with the drive and capability to expand this client base within the firm’s supportive structure.

  • Solid experience managing multifaceted real estate deals, from inception to completion.
