A law firm located in Mt. Pleasant is seeking a Medical Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, including experience with MDLs (Multi-District Litigation) and mass torts. The ideal candidate must possess strong legal writing, legal research, and client management skills. The Medical Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling medical-related litigation cases, including MDLs and mass torts. This role requires a solid understanding of medical law and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills for client management.

 

Duties:

  • Manage medical-related litigation cases, including MDLs and mass torts
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on medical issues
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
  • Communicate with clients, medical experts, and opposing counsel
  • Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
  • Collaborate with partners and legal team members on case strategy

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience
  • Experience with MDLs and mass torts (preferred)
  • Strong legal writing and research skills
  • Excellent client management abilities

 

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
